Refrigerant Gas to Water Heat Transfer Systems

FREE HOT WATER derived from air conditioning and refrigeration plant.

A huge waste of energy is the heat rejected to the atmosphere from air conditioning and refrigeration equipment. Eureka heat transfer systems capture this waste heat by transferring the heat from the refrigerant into a specially designed water cylinder, raising the water temperature to approximately 60 degrees centigrade, free of charge.

In our showroom we have a fully working EUREKA system connected to a Panasonic air conditioning system. The ducted Panasonic air conditioning system provides cooled air conditioned air into the showroom. The heat from the showroom is transferred to the refrigerant which would normally be sent to the outdoor condenser where the heat is rejected.
The refrigerant pipework passes through the Eureka where cold water is heated up to 60 degrees C to be used wherever neded. The cooled refrigerant gas then passes to the condenser in the normal manner.

Waste heat becomes instant profit and equipment lasts longer.

We carry out free on-site surveys and provide quotations and calculations indicating the amount of energy savings that can be made.

Eureka Permanent Transfer System®

The first commercially manufactured heat recoverer in Europe utilises the waste heat from refrigeration plant which generates eurekafree potable hot water. This is heated to a high temperature and pasteurised at the same time. Plant room temperatures are lowered and compressor run-time is reduced.

Suitable for wherever refrigeration or air-conditioning plant is operated and there is a need for potable hot water, for example:

  • Hotels
  • Restaurants
  • Hospitals
  • Nursing Homes
  • Day Centres
  • Abattoirs
  • Supermarkets
  • Butchers
  • Bakers
  • Milking Parlours
  • Dairies
  • Cheese Processors
  • Fish Industry
  • Food Processing Industries

Evaporative Cooling Applications: Schools
Many educational facilities have problems with high temperatures causing student and staff discomfort. A typical example of this is IT rooms. A refrigeration based air conditioning system is costly to install and run. It also has a significant carbon impact.
